1From Indra have I measured an eight-footed and nine-cornered.

  Delicate, faithful to the Law.
2Indra, both worlds complained to thee when uttering thy fearful
   roar,
  What time thou smotest Dasyus dead.
3Arising in thy might thy jaws thou shookest, Indra, having
   quaffed
  The Soma poured into the bowls.
